What Changed
The TURN
Not long after the COVID boom, I was in a serious car accident. It reshaped a lot. It deepened my empathy and sent me looking into psychology, attachment theory, coaching, and neurodivergence. A few years later, I was diagnosed with AuDHD myself.
That diagnosis changed how I see everything about this work. It's why I'm so clear about communication, being neurodivergent means I need clarity and directness to function, and I've learned that most of my clients need exactly the same thing. They need to know where they stand, what's actually happening, and what to expect next. No guessing, no reading between the lines. That's become non-negotiable in how I work.
That's also when my focus sharpened: not exclusively therapists or coaches, but people who help people. More broadly, anyone running a service-based business with real passion behind it. People whose work is fundamentally personal, even when it's professional.
That's still the throughline today, now under the WILDE STUDIO name.

The Long Version
How I got here
I've been a creative person for as long as I can remember. Photography was the first real pull, but I had cousins already established in that industry, and it put me off chasing it myself. So I went looking for other creative outlets and landed on website design.

I started a multimedia course, but the coding side was fiddly and it wasn't where my strengths were. Graphic design and branding was where I actually lit up, so that's what I chased instead: freelance work, typesetting for a newspaper, years across print production and account management roles. All of it creative-adjacent, none of it creative enough, and without the freedom I genuinely needed.
Having my daughter is what gave me the courage to go out on my own. I didn't want to miss her growing up, and I wanted both things, not one instead of the other. I already had an entrepreneurial streak; I'd run a handful of small creative businesses on the side over the years, including building websites to sell my own products. That's genuinely how I found Wix and got fluent in it, necessity, not a career plan.

That fluency turned into local client work across Australia, then Wix Partner status, then clients worldwide. Then COVID hit, everyone needed to get online fast, and the business grew quickly.
